I've been a subscriber of YouTube's Kathleenlights for some time now. Her quirky, warm personality has certainly helped me fall back in love with makeup. Something really interesting is her perfume "strategy". Whenever she has a trip or major event she picks out a new perfume. That way whenever she wears that scent her mind is flooded with memories. I LOVE that idea.
I've never been much of a perfume girl. I'm ridiculously picky when it comes to scents and there are few things I dislike more than a strong, floral perfume. Actually, I prefer "men's" scents that are dark and cozy to the typical overly sweet "female" ones.
The other day while I was scrolling through my Sephora app (this happens too frequently) I discovered a fragrance brand called Commodity Goods. What really caught my eye were their scent names: Whiskey, Tea, and Moss just to name a few. After further research I was hooked and bought their Cocktail Kit. This travel set has 10 different unisex fragrances. The 5 white collection scents are Gold, Mimosa, Rain, Magnolia, and Tea. These are described as being "bright, airy, and easy." The 5 black collection fragrances are Whiskey, Book, Moss, Wool, and Gin. Just going off the names, I knew I would love the black collection. Didn't help that they are described as "complex, moody, and intense." YES. The coolest thing about these fragrances? They are made to be mixed! That's why they are sold as cocktails. They even come with some cocktail suggestions (ex. 1 part Whiskey + 1 part Mimosa = Old Fashioned, 1 part Rain + 1 part Moss = Morning Fog). So not only do you get 10 scents for $22 but you get a million unique combinations. (Click to purchase)

I am slightly obsessed with this scent. I've been wearing it for a few hours and while the scent has changed a little, I can't stop smelling my wrist!
